DESCRIPTION

Brosses Lacasse is a company founded in 1959, specializing in the manufacturing and refurbishing of custom industrial brushes. We are currently looking for a machinist.

AS A MACHINIST, YOU WILL:

  • Read blueprints to produce custom parts for various equipment components

  • Operate various modern and conventional machine tools to cut, grind, and manufacture specific parts

  • Perform precision machining tasks (sawing, turning, milling, boring, planing, drilling, and grinding)

  • Check product conformity according to required specifications

  • Ensure machine tool maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education level: Vocational

  • Diploma: DEP

  • Status: Completed

  • Years of experience: 0–2 years

  • French written/spoken: Yes

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in machining techniques (an asset)

  • Attestation of Vocational Specialization (ASP) in numerical control (an asset)

  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments

  • Knowledge of geometric tolerancing

  • Good 3D spatial awareness

  • Experience operating 3-axis CNC machines (an asset)

  • Strong team spirit
